The SINN housing office at campus Lillehammer is closed like rest of the campus. 

Do you suspect being infected?
Stay home and call the Medical service at 116 117. The municipalities have an emergency plan and routines for handling any infection cases in their municipality.

Have you detected the virus, or been quarantined?
Send an email to [email protected], so that we can get an overview of the situation and the opportunity to inform other tenants with correct and necessary information.

Advice to those sharing common areas
Persons in home quarantine without symptoms are considered to pose a low risk of further infection. It is important to follow general advice for good hand hygiene and other infection prevention measures if you share common kitchen and/or common bath with others. Good hand hygiene with frequent hand washing with soap and water is recommended, especially after toilet visits, before cooking and before eating.

If you share common areas with someone in home isolation it is important with frequent cleaning of common kitchen and common baths. Clean surfaces such as bathroom sinks, toilets, door handles and kitchen counters frequently. Ordinary cleaning products are sufficient. Good hand hygiene with frequent hand washing with soap and water is recommended, especially after toilet visits, before cooking and before meals. Remember to wash your hand if you are in contact with the person who is in home isolation, after you have been to the common kitchen and common bath and before leaving the student house.

In general, it is important that everyone takes responsibility for keeping the communal kitchen / bathroom clean and that everyone cleans surfaces immediately after use.
Kitchens with dishwashers run programs with a minimum of 65 degrees.

You will get the help you need
Should you end up in the home quarantine, the municipality you live in will be responsible for getting you the help you need. We at SINN will support the municipality with facilitation and any necessary measures.
